Mission Statement
 

The mission of Stoughton Baseball is to provide opportunities to the youth of our community to develop the qualities of leadership, teamwork, discipline, and commitment while building a lifelong love for the sport of baseball. Sports give our youth an opportunity to have fun while building critical life skills. Through competition, we look to inspire participants to enhance their physical, mental, social, and interpersonal skills.

To achieve this mission, we must have the players’ interest and development as our focus. Team records and individual accomplishments are secondary to having fun, being a good teammate, and developing skills. By delivering on these principles, we look to attract players and volunteer participation, with the goal of keeping them coming back year after year.

Goals and Guiding Principals

• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for our youth to learn and develop the fundamentals of baseball.
• Promote sportsmanship, competitiveness, and continuous improvement regardless of skill level.
• Develop managers, coaches, and umpires that model good sportsmanship and uphold the mission of the league.
• The league personnel, parents, volunteers, and all participants share the responsibility of making Stoughton Baseball a safe and rewarding experience for all involved.

Stoughton Baseball strives to create an exceptional experience for the players in our program to remember for years to come.

Stoughton Baseball is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization under the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and all activities conducted by the organization shall be consistent with the purposes of the IRC.
