 Love the game of baseball?
Umpires are an important part of the game of baseball. Stoughton Baseball develops local kids age 13 and over for paid baseball umpire positions.
ABOUT OUR
UMPIRES
 |
SALL umpires must be at least 13 and have completed 7th grade. Pony
League umpires should be at least 15 & have
prior umpire/baseball experience. Stoughton Baseball has
a need for older umpires to work Pony (plate and bases) and
Junior VFW (bases).

Umpires must...attend training sessions
& be responsible for keeping their commitments
|
|
|
Umpires are
assigned to leagues based upon experience and performance
|
|
|
Umpires are provided
with a counter, shirt, and are required to wearing protective
gear provided at each field
|
|
|
Umpires are paid
immediately following each game worked
|
OTHER

Effort is made to coordinate umpire schedules will sports, church and other summer activities; however, this will impact the number of games assigned
