Umpires needed for Stoughton Baseball

Love the game of baseball? Umpires are an important part of the game of baseball. Stoughton Baseball develops local kids age 13 and over for paid baseball umpire positions.

ABOUT OUR UMPIRES

SALL umpires must be at least 13 and have completed 7^th grade. Pony League umpires should be at least 15 & have prior umpire/baseball experience. Stoughton Baseball has a need for older umpires to work Pony (plate and bases) and Babe Ruth & Teener (bases).

	Umpires must...attend training sessions & be responsible for keeping their commitments
	Umpires are assigned to leagues based upon experience and performance
	Umpires are provided with a counter, shirt, and are required to wearing protective gear provided at each field
	Umpires are paid immediately following each game worked

Effort is made to coordinate umpire schedules will sports, church and other summer activities; however, this will impact the number of games assigned

Sunday, April 28 (MANDATORY)
Stoughton Baseball Umpire Meeting; 12 – 2pm with pizza to follow at Oak Knoll
(check the website in the event of location change)
